Brian Coughlin Featured in the Jacksonville Daily Record: Commentary on Florida’s Distracted Driver Law

In 2019, Florida lawmakers passed a bill (HB 107) that strengthened the state’s ban on texting while driving, making Florida the 44th state where texting is a primary traffic offense. Tickets will be issued as of Jan. 1, 2020.
