Congratulations to Bedell Firm director Ashley Wells Cox, who was honored as one of the 2020 Women of Influence presented by the Jacksonville Business Journal. Ashley was chosen as one of 20 women who through her work, words and accomplishments serves as an inspirational leader for the First Coast.

This award recognizes women like Ashley whose leadership has helped their companies grow, has shaped the next generation and has provided a model for the community. About Ashley Wells Cox
Ashley is lead counsel for the Bedell Firm’s Family Law division, a practice she helped found in 2016. As part of the leadership team at the Bedell Firm, Ashley helps guide business decisions for the firm. Outside the firm, she provides leadership in the legal community and with other attorneys by her involvement in many professional organizations. Some of these include the Jacksonville Bar Association Bench & Bar Professionalism Committee, the Florida Supreme Court Criminal Law Jury Instruction Committee, the Florida Bar Leadership academy and the Florida Bar Justice Teaching committee.
Ashley is also involved in the community outside of work. For the last two years, she has served as the School Advisory Chair for Atlantic Beach Elementary School and the President of Friends of Atlantic Beach Elementary School. Ashley also volunteers her time as a Guardian Ad Litem.
