Pro Bono Involvement

The Bedell Firm considers it an obligation of the profession to assist with the delivery of legal services to the poor. All directors of the firm provide financial support to Jacksonville Area Legal Aid or Florida Institutional Legal Services.  Members of the firm also often represent the needy in coordination with the local legal aid organization, and Florida Legal Services, and handle criminal appointments in state and federal court. Lawyers of the firm have been recipients of The Florida Bar President's Pro Bono Award; on the Board of Directors and President of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid; recognized for pro bono work by the Jacksonville City Council; and are Fellows of The Florida Bar Foundation.
