C. Warren Tripp, Jr. received his law degree, as well as his undergraduate degree, from the University of Florida. He received his B.A., with high honors, and went on to receive his J.D., with honors, where he was appointed to the Order of the Coif and elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honorary fraternities. In law school, he was one of two students chosen to participate in an experimental program providing law clerks to circuit judges of the state courts of Florida and was employed by the Center of Governmental Responsibility where he performed research and writing responsibilities. He joined the Bedell Firm in 1975 and has lectured on as well as co-authored several articles about construction litigation.
