There is, no doubt, a place for the megafirm in the modern legal community, but the Bedell firm has chosen to remain compact and focused. Throughout our history we have limited our size to 10-15 attorneys and 4-6 paralegals. Large enough to staff the most complicated cases, we are small enough to avoid the institutional inertia which tends to beset even middle-sized firms. ANDREA U. BAILEY has been a paralegal with the Bedell firm since June 1992.  Andrea graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in political science. She received her master's degree in public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
