COURTNEY K. GRIMM graduated magna cum laude from Sweet Briar College in 1989. In 1992 she received her J.D. with honors from the University of Florida College of Law where she was Executive Research Editor and then Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Journal of International Law. She is a member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors, Young Lawyers Division. She served as President of The Jacksonville Bar Young Lawyers Section from 1998-99 and was a board member from 1994-98. Thereafter, she was a member of The Jacksonville Bar Board of Governors from 1998-2001. In 1999, she was honored by the American Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division, as the "Star of the Quarter." Recently, she was appointed to serve on The Florida Bar Civil Procedure Rules Committee and The Florida Bar Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a past member of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court. Ms. Grimm's areas of concentration include commercial, construction and contract litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
